MECDA is a not-for-profit community organization dedicated to the celebration of the arts of Middle Eastern dance. Our mission is to create spaces for dancers in our club to perform, share information and explore our dance arts.

MECDA's commitment to Ending Domestic Violence

In keeping with MECDA's commitment to abolishing domestic violence, and as a service to the local community we use the Dance parties as a collection point for Donations.We ask party attendees to bring any clean, good used clothing that you no longer want to our dance parties .These clothes (or any new cosmetic items; lotion shampoo, conditioner,makeup, etc.) will be donated to the closest shelter for battered women in the dance party area.

is a nonprofit, multi-cultural agency dedicated to providing proactive and progressive solutions to domestic violence. Serving Santa Clara County for the last 29 years, NEXT DOOR offers a range of services to individuals in abusive relationships, starting with emergency intervention and continuing through self-sufficiency.
